Canary Bernegal in wood

We are Ricardo and Elsa , a couple from Telde, fans of woodworking for approximately 45 years. Currently Ricardo is a craftsman recognized by the Island Council of Gran Canaria, performing the artisan trades of wood turning and carpentry.
We consider that craftsmanship is an activity in which the artisan processes raw materials and converts them into unique products . They must also be useful, durable and elegant .

We use tropical woods as raw materials such as purpleheart, rosewood, bubinga, palo violet, bocote, cocobolo, ebony, iroco and bitacola. To make the writing instruments we also use native woods, from plant necromass (fallen, burned or pruned trees and bushes), such as broom, orijama, heather and Canarian pine.
In our workshop we process the wood we have selected, proceeding to cutting, planing, thickening, gluing, gluing, turning and final finishing.
We have specialized in the production of salad bowls, fruit bowls, vases, writing elements and cutting boards for the kitchen ; combining and respecting the natural color of the woods.
